John Lou ministers as Youth Pastor of the Hacienda Heights Chinese Adventist Fellowship. He is a graduate of La Sierra University. In 2004, he took a year off to go to China as a student missionary. He taught English to professionals (doctors, nurses, etc) at the Sir Run Run Shaw Hospital in Hangzhou. While in China, he experienced God's love and committed himself to discipleship. Upon his return to the States, he attended the Amazing Fact's Center of Evangelism (AFCOE) for 4 months trained by well-known evangelists and teachers: Pastor Doug Batchelor, Dr. Alan Parker, Pastor Gary Gibbs, etc... As part of his training at AFCOE, he helped lead out in a 5--week series of evangelistic meetings conducted by Evangelist Brian McMahon, where 48 people gave their life to the Lord. His love for Jesus led to a greater desire to serve Him in the area of youth and pastoral ministries. Once a friend of the world, now a best friend of Jesus Christ. This young man has an inspiring story to tell of God's saving power.
